Our Work is Connected
As impact entrepreneurs building regenerative enterprises we know that our work is deeply connected to the people, planet, and future we serve. On top of that, each entrepreneur and their enterprises are all connected to one another in building towards a shared regenerative economy.
The Greatest Challenge we Have…
- Understanding Our Part -Â If we are to make that shared regenerative economy work, we must understand our part in the greater work of regeneration. Without that understanding, we easily lose our ability to design and create regenerative economies.
- Collaborating with Understanding - With a better understanding of our part and renewed insight into what our work can look like together, we now must learn to collaborate. Without each regenerative enterprise working together, we’ll again fall short of building a truly regenerative economy.
The regenBEN Map as a Tool of Understanding and CollaborationÂ
There are three main aspects to the regenBEN map that will help us to both understand our connections to the work of regeneration and collaborate using our new found understanding.
- Entrepreneurs - The first attribute of the map is that it shows who the entrepreneurs are who are taking on the risk and responsibility to build regenerative enterprises. If you or someone you know is an impact entrepreneur building a regenerative enterprise, we want them on the map.
- Enterprises - The second attribute of the map is that it shows the enterprises these entrepreneurs are responsible for. If there is an entity whether for-profit or non-profit that is doing some part to move us towards a regenerative economy, we want them on the map.
- Connections - The third and final attribute of the map is that it shows the connections these entrepreneurs and their enterprises have with one another. We want to understand every possible way we are connected in the work we are doing so that we can then collaborate and weave that work together.
